Air Antilles Placed in Administration 02-Aug-2023
The company suspended operations as a result of a strike by Syndicat National des Pilotes de Ligne, SNPL which began 14-Jul-2023, and was extended indefinitely on 19-Jul-2023. Company owner Eric Koury applied to the courts for suspension of payments and judicial liquidation, which was granted on 02-Aug-2023, and it was able to restart operations for a period of 60-days, after which it would be fully liquidated.
Air Antilles operates four Twin Otters, two -300’s and two -400’s. The Series 400’s remain in service as of today, while one of the -300’s (F-OHJG) arrived at Calgary-Int’l, AB on 11-Jun-2023, and F-OIJY remains parked without engines at Pointe-à-Pitre.

Having been acquired by Regent Aircraft Services in Jan-2020, the aircraft, or parts thereof were noted in the company storage compound in Calgary on 01-Jul-2023, as seen in the photo below.

Flew Albuquerque, NM - Lubbock, TX - Madison, WI - Flint, MI - Plattsburgh, NY 02/03-Aug-2023 for operation as a freighter in the U.S. northeast. It replaces N228SA (see above) which was ferried out to Calgary, AB.

After having been open storage within Borek’s compound since 2008, the aircraft was noted at Calgary-Int’l, AB 01-Jul-2023 in front of the main hangar as seen in the photo below by Jan Koppen.
