Air Antilles Liquidation Process Concludes
On 02-Aug-2023, Compagnie Aérien Inter Régionale Express (the parent of Air Guyane and Air Antilles) was granted judicial liquidation and suspension of payments. Both companies were permitted to continue operations for sixty days, after which the liquidation would occur.
On 04-Oct-2023, the Commercial Court of Pointe-à-Pitre ruled that Air Antilles would be sold to the government of French Saint-Maarten (60%) and the French infastructure company Edéis (40%). The sale of Air Guyane however was not successful, and it ceased operations on 01-Oct-2023.
Under new ownership Air Antilles will drop all international destinations, and serve only Saint-Martin, Saint Barthélemy, Pointe-à-Pitre, and Fort-de-France.

Having been painted and delivered in the regular orange livery only last year, 8Q-TAU has now received a branded scheme for the Six Senses Kunahura. The aircraft is seen below with thanks to Aviators Maldives.
